Great kettle, boils fast but would be better if the filter wasn't made out of plastic and if the body had a heat-protective layer so you don't get scalded.

I have been using this product for quite awhile now. And I am very happy with this product. Performance-wise, it's excellent. Heating time is excellent, elegant-looking body. Everything about it is just very good. Good job Philips! for this product. I strongly recommend this product.

This excellent kettle boil water within 4min. Good CG for pouring .my family enjoy using it. Except the external hot surface may burn skin but it cooling fast also if boil for drinking water. For this the keep warm may consume more electricity so I don’t use it.

The keep warm function works well and is better than HD9316. However, the boiling feature is easier to "spoil" compared to HD9316. It takes slightly longer time to boil after it "spoil". It was within acceptable waiting range for me. And the mesh filter within the kettle is not steel. As shown in the picture, it is very easy to turn yellow and spoil. As for now, Philips do not replace this product as it is no longer on sales. They will replace with HD9316 (true at the point of submitting this review).

Works well for boiling higher volume of water (minimum 3 cups to see water level externally). Spring lid is a great feature! It'll be better if there's a bell to signal water is boiled (like a microwave); otherwise it's easy to forget. A tad heavy when kettle is full (not suitable for the elderly).

this product is easy to use, reasonably priced. i like it.

Hard to find a kettle that have a keep warm feature and Philips has 2 of such feature kettles. Upgraded from the previous model but filter disintegrated twice within 1.5years.

Just bought this kettle. After using 3-4 times, the kettle did not switch off on boiling! On checking the Switch off button could not engage when the water boil.
